We are excited to announce the arrival of our long awaited US Army officer's service Caps and aviator's style crusher caps.
We now offer both the regulation style cap AND the Army aviator's style cap as you can see here:
Aside from the dark shade chocolate #51 you see in the photo, we have also made the aviator's style caps in pink elastique, and OD wool serge (Field shade). We presently only offer the regulation style cap in chocolate. Khaki regulation service caps are coming soon, but not in aviator's style. All caps are lined with lustrous acetate fabric, moisture proof topper barriers, beautiful quality crushable chrome tanned leather visor and chin straps in russet shade, and hand sewn sheepskin leather headband.
Now for the bad news, we made these caps from left over stocks of fabric and were not able to make large quantities. So needless to say quantities are limited. Furthermore some chocolate caps were made using a 45%wool/55%poly blend fabric. Once these caps sell out it will be some time before more come back in stock. The price of wool has exploded 100% in the last year. However, the more folks agree to wait for the next the run the faster we can make plans to buy more fabric. Sizes currently available are 7 through 7-3/4 in 1/8 size increments.
These are in the final stages of production and exact price is not yet known. They are anticipated to be competitively priced around $160 each. Officer's emblem, not included, is also available for $12 each.
