Thanks for posting that, Marcel.

Here are several interesting points regarding that photo.

1) First, the jacket looks like it could be an Aero with "brick red" knits and "milk chocolate russet" horsehide.

I have an ELC "Aero" 18775-P contract that is pretty much that exact shade of brown. And the knits are spot on the same shade of brick red.


2) My name is also Ted!


3) I was a WWII fighter pilot........but only in my dreams! :cool:

Nice jacket! my relative Capt Rene Burtner has posted a few pic`s of him on Little Friend`s 359th out of Wretham field.

It does appear to be an Aero. I think its great that he can still wear it and it does not as yet reside in someone's collection. I hope he can still zip it up.
