Size Question on Martin Lane G-1 Jackets

Shipmates,
I have a question regarding the sizing on The Martin Lane Co. G-1 jackets produced in 1968 and 1969. I am looking at a Size 46. Are these jackets sized large or is the 46 more like a modern day 44? Thanks for your time.

in general, I found the Martin Lane jackets to run on the small side. best way is to check the individual jacket's measures. Bob
