Got these two Strategic Air Command patches on the 'bay, SAC patch embroidered on filt with mesh backing, 4 inches wide, nearly 4 inches high. Doesn't look like a fake to me.
Never seen one like this before, still a lot of variants to go......
Seller was based at Carswell AFB, Texas, from '60 to '62.
Also got the patch from the 43 BW along with it, as it did look ok to me, but got to dig a bit around to see if I can date this one.
Measures 3 by 4 inches. LJM has an identical one, noteworthy is the double stitch edging.
43rd flew B-58 Hustler from Carswell, and this one is a nice addition to the other Hustler Wing patch, the 305th BW, which I acquired a couple years ago.
These Wings were the only two Wings to operate the Hustler.
