Most people who know about WWII era flying jackets generally accept that Gary Eastman makes a really good reproduction. This is one of Gary's finest a true reproduction of the legendary Irvin flying jacket without the legacy of 60 year old sheepskin and materials. It is simply stunning and a 2007 "1942 Pattern" model which has only been worn a handful of times ( I have WAY too many leather flying jackets and some of them have to go). That D-1 is a beauty, and I'd love it, but it's going to go for more than I can afford. The Highwayman looks nice too.

+1 on the D1, looks fantastic. Unfortunately looks like it will be a little big on me.. any chance of getting a rough chest measurement from inside the jacket?

I'm a 44" and this is a fine true fit for a 44" ... not as trim as originals but a good modern fit ... I'd put the internal chest at 46" or 47"
