I’ve been wearing these for years, and now because of this (excellent, BTW) series, everyone thinks I’m jumping on the Peaky Blinders bandwagon. I have half a dozen, my favourite came from these guys:-

They have a great selection, prices are reasonable and returns not a problem-important as you need to try a few on, as they can vary a lot-many I’ve tried on in high street shops aren’t ‘big’ enough to look authentic, more like a flat cap, although beware the Village Hats ‘Big Apple ‘, I ordered one and sent it back, it was gigantic, it made me look like a mushroom! (Anyone in the UK who remembers the Goodies and ‘Black pudding Bertha’ will have an idea!)
The price can also vary a lot-if you buy one by Stetson or the like you will pay through the nose-American Classics in London stock a good range I believe, and you can also get them from the Real McCoys, but prepare to pay big money!
For a while now I’ve been planning to get one of Aero’s Harris Tweed ones, but have never got around to it, but I’m sure they would have the proper look!
You have to sew in your own razor blades!
I remember them well. This is what I mean! You think I'm joking!

Nicer than bunny-wunnies! I liked the one with the song (including the dog!)I'm into country fieldsports and for the past several decades have rarely been seen out without a flat cap of some description perched on my balding noggin when out shooting. Interesting to note that over the past 10 years or so the old style, more full and larger peaked cap has undergone a bit of a resurgence, I have a couple of those but get the mickey taken out of me by my wife and daughter each time I wear one.
Not quite as bad as the Goodies version.
I've never had a panelled Baker Boy style cap though.
A very popular choice amongst the "Billy and Hot rod" scence over here in the UK .Thank you all for your replies. I have an Irish made flat cap my sister bought me years ago when she was on vacation in Ireland, but I've taken a liking to what we call in the U.S. the "newsboy" style that has more of an overhang on the sides.
