That looks a rare bird John, have you seen this he has also?

I saw this the other day. I wonder if it's a one off possibly by one of the Irvin makers machinists as a foreigner? Possibly done at home. It has a Dot zip so that might have been liberated to use on it. It is an odd choice of zip to use otherwise. It's a bit chunky for this sort of jacket.

The whole jacket has a home made look to it.

ive seen a few of the Irvin hides made into non regulation jackets, and for what they are, kinda nifty. nearly all of this sellers gear is one off. like he specializes in odd balls. the bigger b-3 he is offering, though basically nice, has a replaced zipper [as does the size 38],, and the jacket is a redye. also, and odd assortment of miss matched pins and insignia, and women's gear. packaratus collectus
