Yes they are too tall. Stitching on the eps is wrong. Monarchs had ball snaps, not ring ones. The hh looks like plastic. I would not recommend this jacket to anyone. It looks cheap and for the same money you can get a second hand high end A2.

Amen to that ! I've acquired several different A-2s, a used ELC Rough Wear, a wonderful Aero, a couple of Seftons, each for that price or less.
