New ACME 21996 by Good Wear and Diamond Uniform

Gents,

Just a quick post to show you what I am currently working on...

New Acme 1941, W535-AC-21996 "ACME" contract, by Diamond Uniform and Good Wear Leather.

Veg Tanned, Aniline Dyed, FQHH from Shinki, Japan. Red Knits and reproduction Talon zipper by Waldes Japan.

This jacket just left here, winging its way Northwest, to have a throat latch applied by the master at Good Wear.
For those Eagle eye types who noticed that it is missing.

Looks good, this is a great alternative if you don't need a custom fit and most of us really don't. Probably as close to WWII issue as your gonna get.

If the "off the rack" items, are offered in Shinki HH, that would be up to JC to determine.

That said, since this hide was already on hand and mine, this test sample will probably go around $1049.00.

Few more pics of the jacket being worn, and now with the throat clips in place...As can also be seen, the jacket is not nearly
as flat and smooth as my photos show, this jacket has tons of grain and will only look better with age!

Jacket in question is now for SALE! Couple days on here, then to JC's website and maybe eBay later... $1049.00 USD
