Named Ed Church with VF-4 (Red Rippers) original patch

Ed Church M-422A named to a pilot that flew with the Red Rippers. I have a picture of the whole squadron with the pilot on it. The jacket has seen better days but WWII jackets named and patched are rare.

It's nice that the label was reattached when the lining was replaced. The patch looks very fresh. Are you sure it's original ?

Yes it is, the flash actually makes it look way cleaner than it actually is.
