N1 Deck jacket - WWII or postwar?

I don't know USN deck jackets all that well but I got into a conversation with a friend about this jacket and he thinks it is WWII, but based on the zipper I am thinking it is more likely post-WWII.

Hoping someone here can add more insight.

Thanks

You're right, probably 60's or later. An easy way to tell WWII USN deck jackets is the NSxx designation in the spec label. Also, WWII issue N-1's had individual sizes in the label (not Medium, Large, etc). Hope that helps!

Shape of collar and the button tab as well as the alpaca indicates it is a civilian lookalike - also the lable

Seems to be a nice jacket anyway
