Hi all,

been a while, due to holiday work and melted computer! Started to do some web browsing and came across this one on LIFE. Curious to see a navy jacket with USAF style name strip.

IN THEORY THIS COULD BE AN ANJ-3A WHICH COULD BE ARMY OR NAVY. BUT FROM WHAT I WAS TOLD NO ONE KNOWS OF ANY ISSUED TO THE ARMY.

a "possible" explanation is that some of the original AVG pilots had the USN type flight jackets , maybe this guy was a member that was with another unit later on and just kept the jacket, or this could be an AVG briefing room .
