Nice jacket, but don't get your hopes up over replaced knits (unlikely to happen with John's workload - he's more likely to decline to replace them).

Very nice indeed. The wristlets are still fairly tight and the damage can easily be repaired. With an original like this the knits are perhaps best not replaced as the value of the jacket is reduced in the eyes of many collectors. It's a shame about the damage to the male side of the Crown zipper.

If you look at the close up pics you can see where the paint from the depot refurbishment has seeped on to the zipper and thread.
