Hi,
In this thread, I am going to post some preview pics of various Japanese magazines. I don’t want to violate their copyright, so, selected pics only, mainly about (military) flight jacket and leather jacket. Wish you gentlemen enjoy it.

There’s always some really nice looking stuff available in Japan. Really like the look of some of those bike jackets. ‘Suit up!’ is still my favourite jacket book. I’d love to go there, with some serious money mind, and have a shopping spree. If I could find anything my size!

Yeah I have a few of those lightning mags, I love the way everything is presented and photographed like it's an artifact. It literally makes you want EVERYTHING!
And to have whole shops dedicated like that is so cool

Yeah, I found a copy soon after it came out. I look through that every now and then, many years later.
A pal of mine went there and hit some of the big reproduction stores in Japan. He said it broke his heart to see that much stuff that looked great and some of it even fit, but he just couldnt afford much.

There is a chain of Japanese book stores in the US, and I've found catalogs for the Asian vendors and other related magazines and reference books in the Seattle location.
I just recently found out they have two locations in the Portland area and I'm likely going there on Friday. If I do, I'll try to hit them both, but downtown Portland is a very scary and messy place these days (I won't go into the details, an internet search will give you answers if you haven't been there lately).
