The first pic is an original, which I find interesting, I have seen an original sewn on a jacket, both the same pattern around the perimeter, as opposed to the round patch mentioned in Maurer. The other is a copy paper/fabric iron on, from an inkjet that was done several years ago. Surprising that I wadded it up like a peice of paper an no bubbles or seperation. I did add two coats of a flexable varnish as a top coat, might have helped in the joining process.

Just playing around. However Maybe this might hold up ok on a jacket. The other thought is in films it would be a lot easier, and cheaper to create these for backgound actors.
