How common were patches/name tags/rank and nose art on A-2's

I am very fond of all the above mentioned "decorations" but at the same time I like to keep
everything looking authentic. From what I can tell the percentages of each look a little like
this (starting with the most common to the least common) :

1) Nametag : 48 % of all jackets (with gold leaf and/or white paint inprint 7%)
2) AAF decal or patch: 39% of all jackets (bullion numbered AAF patch 2%)
2) Squadron or Group patch : 33 % of all jackets (both on one jacket 5%)
3) Painted on wings and/or rank tabs: 22 % of all jackets (painted on leather tabs 18%)
4) Bomb and/or kill tally : 15% of all jackets
5) Nose art on back : 12% of all jackets (high quality Varga or Petty girl with text)
6) Stencil text inside or outside: 5% of all jackets

Now, colour is another thing, l think that russet was the most common colour maybe 2 out
of 3 jackets were in russet and the rest in seal.

So a "generic decorated A-2 jacket" (if there is one) would look a little like this:

Colour russet, with: name tag, (numbered) AAF patch or decal, and a squadron patch

Jeroen, what's with posting the same message three times?
As to the subject at hand: where do you get your statistical data on the adornments of A2s?
And, when handling statistical data, keep in mind what Winston Churchill said about them:
"There are lies, damn lies, and statistics..."

Yeah, and 90% of all statistics are made up, on the spot!

There was some sort of glitch in the system, first it didn't work so I submitted it again and then I found out it came out
3 times  It seems that very soon we have to move yet again to a newer version.

Anyways the numbers, wel you're right BD and WN, I thought that would get a reaction ;) and yes I made them up but based on my oberservations wich of course are open for debate wich I hope will give more insight so.....

All that aside - how authentic would a totally unmarked A-2? Would an un-nametagged example have lasted long in a service unit, or been stolen in short order?
