Our Aviator jacket is a Men's version of Amelia Earhart's Jacket. We named it "The Aviator" because it is based on the Earhart jacket we named the "Aviatrix". Being the men's version of the jacket, it just made sense to call it the male version of the word Aviatrix, "Aviator". Here are some photos of our most recent jacket made in Chestnut Capeskin. We also can make this jacket in light or dark Russet Horsehide or Chestnut Capeskin. The pocket flaps needed some work and have been adjusted. All other details are correct based on Earhart's jacket features. All parts are 100% 1930's period correct. Our latest version of pocket is more like the original, it is seen in the last photo. That pocket shape will be on all future jackets:
