I had a GW Dubow 27998 and sold it to a gentleman in CA on eBay last month. This one is a test jacket JC made from new shipment Italian HH. It is a little darker, and not as bright a brown as what he usually has. It's also a tick thicker. It has a test of a Kwik zipper, where JC applied the stopper from an original, and it works great.

hahahahahahahahaa, dany, yer killn me. btw, that hide almost looks like goat due to its consistency. I have an original 2nd contract dubow with very similar hide.

The pebble look and the colour of this batch is awesome ..the zipper is a great touch
