I have a gw roughwear in Italian hhDoes anyone have experience of this
It's basically the same stuff that Eastman and BK use, although it differs from BK's horsehide in that it isn't pigment-dyed. IIRC, John has it in a new dark russet color that's somewhere between your typical seal and russet.Does anyone have experience of this
Nice - how has it aged?I have a gw roughwear in Italian hh
If I ever order directly - that sounds like a good option. Just very expensive ordering new - and I don’t have enough knowledge yet to enjoy the process! It's basically the same stuff that Eastman and BK use, although it differs from BK's horsehide in that it isn't pigment-dyed. Great. Not too stiff or thick much like Elc I’ve had. But not light and soft like horween. My horween jackets remind me of lamb skin . Very soft and light.Nice - how has it aged?
My experience as well. Still very tough, but VERY pliable and it's got a nice hand to it.My horween jackets remind me of lamb skin . Very soft and light.
Yes grain galore. My dubow looks like he skinned an elephants d**k.Oh, definitely WAY better than lambskin. Pa and I were just making the point that it's pliable in a way you don't normally associate with HH,
