goodwear 1938 aceme russet aniline red knits od thread

Hi there chaps spoke with vickie at goodwear yesterday to choose the right A2 for my build and style im looking for ie vintage athletic cut i was looking at the 21996 aceme in dark seal with the red aero knits and od thread what i thought looks amazing but that style looks a bit to wide around the waist for me, so i saw the russet in 21996 with same features but thought to change that style for one of johns newer styles the 1938 aceme which john has recommended to me, and some think different from what others have chosen. i read the description of this A2 and it is just what im looking for so 10-12 months from now i should be one happy chappy fingers crossed

John's willing to do the red knits on the 38 contract? If yes, then I'm getting this contract for sure. I thought he would only do it in russet with mid brown knits, though...

Pls don't get me wrong, this is not meant to be taken as a critique; just wondering of he'll do the same for me :lol:

to be honest i didnt know you couldn't have the red knits on this aero contract imo this jacket will look great in either dark seal with red knit or russet hopeful my wishes will be granted fingers crossed if not i mybe go with the 21996 aceme

I have yet to see an original 1938 Aero that had berry knits fitted in the Aero factory. I'm sure it would look very smart with them, but if you are going to buy the 1938 ACME from John then 100% accuaracy to the original contract would be the way to go IMO.

yes roughwear ive had time to think about this contract and after seeing some pictures from saucerfiend on the forum he has made me see the light over this contract, i suppose it would be like spraying a Ferrari pink lol.
