I was so excited when I heard there was a luncheon hosting members of the legendary "Flying Tigers". They were the group that started my fascination with WW2 aviation. They still are THE group as far as I'm concerned. I own 4 signed prints with the distinctive shark toothed P-40's roaring into action . Meeting them in person they were absolute gentlemen, I couldn't have been more impressed. I designed and painted this jacket so I could have the 6 aces sign it for me when I met them.
Instead of using "Flying Tigers" or "AVG", again I threw in my favorite motto, "Go For Broke", in honor of the 100th/442nd Regimental Combat Team.(US Army Infantry unit)
