This is my cottonpickin' L-2 jacket. It started out as a plain McCoys L-2. I think it was on the old forum where I first saw pictures and stories from the 15th TRS "Cottonpickers". I collected the patches and rank along with some period thread. I was saddened to see the "Cottonpickers" website go away especially after completing the jacket.

Great looking jacket. Never did get one of those L-2 jackets. Very nice. Too gadabout the web site. It was a great reference.

An L-2 has been on my shopping list for a long time. Kev, yours looks fantastic with the patch and rank. Wear it in good health buddy.

It was tricky to find the rank patch. You don't see the leather/foil ones anywhere. The L-2 is a great jacket and a little more stout due to the lining material.
