Eastman's "War Horse" leather

I suspect this has been answered before...but couldn't find it.
When did Eastman start using their "War Horse" leather?
Was the horse hide used before this from the same Italian producer..sans the "War Horse" logo...or different in more than just name/supplier?

Gone, but not forgotten.
The name warhorse first appeared on the forum in March 2008.

My understanding was that it was all new .... Italian supplier, new name, now comes with wrinkles, and higher price.

I come with wrinkles now too.
Wish I had a higher price.

The wrinkles are a good start ... the addition of a few patches will help you acheive a higher price, but may make you more difficult to sell.

I'm placing my bets on the body art.
