The base museum held a collectors day event...come show your collections....
the coolest thing was aguy collecting Oreo cookie merchandise...
I threw afew things together too....

A small display at the local library. Nothing very intersting in itself, however; most items came from the veterans around the area. The poster/advertisement is the coolest item dated 1978...way cool. I started going to airshows at DAFB in 1971....age 6...

Thank you for the pics. The P-4B helmet seems to be in good shape.
(My first airshow was in 1977. I was 12 years old )

The helmet came from a vets family that belonged to the 95th back in the late 60s early 70s interior is so-so check out the kid running up to the aft ramp on 460...when assigned to DAFB in 93, I would tell the guys that I had been on C-5s longer than anyone here at Dover... :lol: :lol: :lol:
