Diamond Cap Co, adding new branding

Gents,

Broadening the company interests again into the area of 1930's and 40's fashion! It seems that very few companies have decided to reproduce the "Wool-Leather" goods that were so popular in that era... that is until now! Most other companies opt to do the all leather
styles of the period and it seemed that there was a gap in the market.

Check out The Diamond Sportswear Co. (DSC) first offering... for the time being parked on my current Military cap site.

This first jacket features NOS original Deco Talon zippers throughout. First in the form of the main zip, but also in the #3 bell shaped puller, chest zip as well. Also prominent is the 24oz Melton Wool body as well as the 3 oz. aniline dyed Japanese horsehide, courtesy of
our friends at Good Wear!!

Ciao for now,

This particular style will run 800 USD with original zippers (as available) and Shinki Aniline HH.

I will be introducing this same thing in a slightly darker Goatskin (also from JC) for around 650

Thanks to all for the comments.

Wayne,
I understand the dilemma, I am seriously thinking of one of Johhny's Irvins and I live in Okla-bloomin-homa, where it would NEVER get used, still sooooo tempting!!!

Gents,

Just a quick heads up that I have listed several jackets on eBay, and will be listing this one in just a few minutes as well. And am also
running a Veterans Day sale as well... busy, busy!!

The new jackets look very well made, and I'm sure will sell very well.

However, just a thought Dave, have you thought about making a perfect repro Officers Service Coat and Ike Jacket to go with your caps. I'd love one of those with all period tailors labels etc. And all the repros I've purchased to date I've sold on as they just don't cut it, IMO.
