    Guys ,

here is something I finished last week:
It is a chinese made Bronson denim Sea Bag that I "pimped" a little bit. It came with a kind of aged, latex lacquer stencilling.

I tried to paint it over but no chance, so I sew some fabric patches on to cover the letters.
New stencils by me, with USS Salem and CA-139 being correct. Same for the HU-2, as the Salem had one helicopter from the Helicopter Utility Sq. 2.

To name them "Sea Witches" and add a mascot was "artistic freedom".

The brass hardware comes from a local sailmaker (combined with the leather strap it is my wallet lanyard).

    Best regards,

    Ties

Nice job. Getting into USN denim myself. Well, repro at least. The WWII stuff is becoming unobtainium!
