Can someone help me in identifying the brand and type of this leather jacket?

I bought this jacket from a vintage store, its been a week I have been looking for information online and I haven't found out anything about it. Like what type of hide it is? when was it manufactured and where?

I think you’re going to struggle to find out much more. It’s a non-vintage fashion jacket, and it’s cowhide, because it says ‘young cow’ on the label. Not a well-known maker, quite possibly of Asian origin. Sorry, I think that’s about it.

Thank you for the info. It is not cowhide, the labels should have been marked it includes all other types of the hide but non marked therefore did not know what hide it is. I compared it to other kind of hides, it looks like buffalo but still unsure

No worries. We get a lot of folk turning up here, asking about their jacket and what it’s worth, then they disappear without trace. It does get a bit tiresome. I don’t think it’s buffalo, that’s usually a lot grainier. If it was, I imagine it would say so.
