No it was bought as a second hand jacket and I have seen the last couple sell for around the £300 mark so my logic based on a few reviews from users of the site and similar sites in japan was I could expect to save £50 odd quid and actually find one as there is quite a few to choose from and I’ve not seen many in the U.K.Go with your gut and the old thought that if sounds too good to be true it usually is.
Think about it for a second, if it were an authentic Buzz for that price, that means that the company would be undercutting all of their distributors such as History Preservation Assoc and others who deal in Buzz products . That just doesn’t happen, the distributors would be up in arms, and Buzz would be cutting their own lifelines
U do mean it’s no good as in it not real Bryce ..nice oneView attachment 12925 View attachment 12925 Sorry Art, no good...sorry....Above how it should be if good...
I’m a big advocate of “if it’s to good to be true “ there’s normall a reason for that but on this occasion I have to say I’ve obtained my last couple of nearly new buzz ricksons for £300 and this works out just a bit cheaper , add to that it was purchased at 4am I’ve have to use that as an excuse for getting caught out. Hopefully I can get a refund as it’s all done thru PayPal ...ArtGo with your gut and the old thought that if sounds too good to be true it usually is.

Thanks for that I’ll give it a look I hope your right ,I’m not so sure and those triangle leather tabs are done awfull ..fingers crossedIt's an OLD Buzz Rickson. Assumption is that you bought it second hand from Buyee via auction? I have had great success using Buyee and it is great to see more forum members using it.
Buyee is a shipping agent for those that don't know. Not a retailer. The price on a used BR in a 40 for most jackets will be under USD$200 for Tanker, B-10s etc. This is a rarer B-15A.
I have only ever had one B-15A (Mod). The bidding went up because the 'locals' wanted it too. Google the jacket variant.. M13399. You will get some older pics.
Here is a 38.

It is a Buzz Rickson.
In the pics can u notice how the alpaca is secreating through the edge of the inside pocket and the labels been sewn on badly add to that a lot of loose threads and a kinda newish smell on the jacket itself. If it is indeed an older Buzz then it’s been stored and looked after very well, the army decal is diff to my other 2 buzz decals too. But it’s mainly downto the build quality of my other 2 buzz’s compared to this ....it’s just not thereIt is a Buzz Rickson? You bid and won the item? Now you are not happy with it?
What is the issue?
I wanna be happy it fits great but I can’t have a fergasi .. notice the difference in the triangle tabs and how bad the second pic of it isIt is a Buzz Rickson? You bid and won the item? Now you are not happy with it?

Thanks for your input I did reply regarding the price and bid but forgot to reply to u but it’s on the post ...cheers ArtThis is the risk when buying from Japan via an auction house. You can't ask questions and the translations are vague and confusing.
If there is doubt I don't bid. If the pictures are not assisting with the decision I don't bid. In a decade of buying from Japan I have had
a few jackets arrive that are a lot smaller than expected, adorned with cigarette smoke and the odd knit issue that I could not detect. I
have never had a fake purchased from the BR section. What was the start price on the jacket auction? Just remember you bid it up.
Caveat emptor. Same as on eBay. If this jacket went on eBay the price would have been even higher.
My 'daily wearer' is an M model Buzz Rickson. As good as new after 15 years. My go to jacket for my two hours of airconditioned, post
dinner bliss in the tropics.
It looks like you are just unhappy with the price vs jacket. Been there, done that. Buyee, the Forum and on eBay. Make a Paypal claim
and cross your fingers they don't required you to ship the jacket back... That would be a nightmare. Get your money, flip the jacket on
eBay and get paid twice for the jacket.
Appreciate thatIt is a real Buzz. Before Buzz made jacket themselves they use Toyo Ent to make their jkt where the washing label always showed M 12345.
After Buzz make the jkt themselves, the washing label change to BR 12345
Toyo period Buzz is indeed of good quality in my opinion , not withstanding they are cheaper, Toyo's version seems to pay more attention to the authenticity level more consistently whereas for modern Buzz, many version are bad, while 1-2 version are excellent. That is my opinion only.
Thanks so much for your opinion I really do value it as I know you are a knowledgeable dude when it comes to menswear and you certainly know your stuff so once again thanks I’m sure that buzz Rickson will only confirm what you’ve saidIt is a real Buzz.
