Some Bremont RAAF watches.
This one was worn in a RAAF EA-18G Growler that caught fire on the runway during an exercise with the USAF at Nellis AFb. in 2018.
The Growlers engine exploded while in full power during a take-off. The two pilots did an incredible job to stay with the jet and keep control to avoid hitting other aircraft parked nearby, had the incident been a couple of
seconds later they would have been committed to the take-off and likely would have had to eject after clearing the runway.
A high-pressure compressor in the Growler's engine had broke into three major pieces, with one segment piercing through the bottom of the jet and taking a chunk out of the runway.
Another piece of the compressor went sideways through the second engine causing severe damage, while the third piece went up and destroyed the right-hand tail fin before flying away and landing some distance from the jet.
As the jet came to a halt, the rear fuselage was engulfed in fire, the main undercarriage collapsed, and two of the three ALQ-99 electronic jammer pods it was carrying were severely damaged.
The Growler which had recently been delivered to the RAAF was a $120 million write off.
One of the hardest watches in the world to acquire, the Bremont martin Baker MB,I as you have to have survived an ejection and have the serial number of the Martin Baker seat to get one, the red case is only found on these.
This one belongs to a RAAF flight instructor who ejected out of a Pilatus PC-9/A while training at RAAF Base East Sale in 2011. During the ejection, the pilot broke his back and neck, going to show that this is a watch you well and truly earn.

A limited edition of 10, made for Martin-Baker Australia, The dial features a schematic of a MB seat, and in a neat little design twist when the counterweight of the seconds hand (which is modelled on the black and yellow control that activates the seat) hits 12, it lines up perfectly with its position on the actual seat.
ALT1-WT made for the RAAF’s KC-30 No. 33 Squadron.
2018 Bremont MBIII military edition for Fighter Combat Instructors (FCI) in the RAAF.
2014 A pair of Bremont RAAF watches on a flying mission.
RAAF Medical branch
Bremont ALT1-Z military edition for RAAF No. 2 Squadron in the cockpit of a Boeing 737 Wedgetail.
