I can see why this person posted it as an A-3. Thats what the tag
says it is!!
Either this is a repro with an A-3 tag in it, or the original tag fell out,
and someone found a tag with the A-3 nominclature on it, and put that
into it.
Just did a little research. Arnoff did indeed make B-3's and A-3 flight pants so I guess the label is from the pants. Maybe it was put on by mistake when the jacket was being made or it's been added later. Only the buyer will know after close examination.
... maybe not strictly for small guys either. I take a 40 or 42 in an A-2, yet I can fit into my 38R B-3 quite OK, so long as I'm just wearing a shirt underneath.
