agree with shedonwanna, as i had one years ago and was told the same. they show up in different colors and sizes, which would make me think the diff was to indicate the school or field. frankly, i think that they are kinda nifty, and one would look good on an a-1 back.

Size also matters too....they come in several. I agree this could be from a flying school, but I have also seen these on sports jackets and souvenir pennants. I think a large jacket patch...meaning 10+ or so inches...would be worth about $20, and a 4" chest size patch, maybe $10, so I think the reason this is not getting much action is it is priced too high.
