Guess what? They do! The 380th BG Association sells their WW2 Squadron patches (repros, of course). One of them has Bugs Bunny, another Donald Duck. Both Disney and WB charge the Association licensing fees for the continued use of the images, and the words "Walt Disney Inc" (or something like that) and "Warner Brothers" are also required by each company to be included on the patches. During the war, of course, they didn't pull that crap. I doubt private patch makers here will be on Disney's or WB's radar screens, unless they start selling them big time.

actually, during the later war year(s) 45 you do start to see some nose art with the Disney trademark
