Great product .. I use it on boots, jackets and non goretex M/C gloves. Natural beeswax and lanolin non petroleum distillate based. Less greasy than Pecards and hasn't done any harm to any of my stuff in over 15 years of using. Can darken lighter leathers. A small pot lasts AGES :D

I had a WPG Irvin and while the early ones had what appeared to be synthetic facings on the seams ... the latter ones had steerhide/cowhide facings and were a really good budget Irvin ( much better re. authenticity than ALC who own the Irvin brand) The sheepskin was really good and the colour...

great point Dave ... I think the 2nd hand market is my marker .... but it is a little surprising that a 2nd hand original is cheaper than a repro ( sort of like a '59 les Paul being cheaper than a '59 reissue !!!!!!! )
