The color now seems to be closer to Alden 405s (Indys) now. Although I really like the original cherry color, I also love this type of experiment. Nice change, Doug. ;)

I agree with many of you here. It's kind of like buying pre-distressed jeans. Kind of tacky. Although every once in a while, they take the distressing techniques to really high levels. But I still prefer to experience the aging in more natural ways. Or inherit them.

Yeah, these Beckman Boots don't come with RW logos embossed on the sides, and that's one of the reasons I really wanted a pair of these!

I also have a pair of Indys from around that time that i've put some solid wear in. So it'll be very interesting to see how these GTs will compare to them.
