Did the D-Day beach visits to pay my respects a few years ago..& everyone was very pleasant (thankfully), off the beaten track we found a village that had an allied tank in pride of place in the square. Visited Crete once & the older generation were very warm towards the English if not too happy...

I used the Hstory Preservation measurements to guide my A-2 fit specs before approaching ELC, best contracts for broad shoulders in my case.

Got one, narrow & high waisted but broad shouldered, I take a 48 in an ELC A-2 but the 46 Ostmann fits me fine.

Currently alternating my ELC A2’s (Monarch & 50 Cal) & on the rare occasion we see sunshine in the UK the A1 makes an appearance. Have enjoyed the Eastmans experience over the years with the exception of the price increases which now mean I can’t currently justify any more jacket purchases. If...

Have recently washed several old Alpha Civvy nylon jackets in the washing machine, cold wash 15 minutes with low spin and then line dried..no issues…nice and clean :cool:

A month off the booze & two months of working out again and my ELC C-3 vest fits again zipped up….just had to share that :cool:

The ELC 46 I moved on could only be worn with a T underneath, I had to be permanently working out & watching my diet to fit in it & the ‘break-in’ to get to that point was unbelievable :)

I own two 48 chest ELC A-2’s and both are roomier contracts. I tried the smaller hipster fit and it didn’t work out :). Yours look fine to my eye and I expect to be able to wear a fine sweater underneath.

Had one and boiled in it over here in the UK on the coldest day that year & that was stood still, sold it and purchased an N-2A which I still have and love. Wish the N-3A wasn’t so warm..stunning parka in post

As Mulceber rightly says lots of red flags. Looks dodgy as hell, sort of thing that gets put into my FB feed..wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole as we say in the UK.
