Years ago there was a ATC "hump" vet that would wear his old A-2 to the local airshows we had here..This guys A-2 was probably the coolest A-2 I'd ever seen. It had the composite leather ATC patch with the woman and leather CBI and AAF shoulder patches..His name tag was also in Chinese and Burmese I believe.. I Over the top of the composite blood chit on the back was a green and red hand painted Chinese dragon that was standing on the chit..What was neat was the tail of the dragon went under right the epp and down the front of the right side of the jacket..By far the coolest CBI theatre jacket I've ever seen.
I had pics of this jacket but have no idea where they are now.
