Zodiac Squadron Nose Art

Here's some nose art pics from the "Zodiacs" 834th BS, 486th BG, 8th AF.
The artwork was done by Cpl Phil Brinkman. Each B-24 in the sqaudron had a sign of the Zodiac painted on it. My grandad's last mission in a B-24 was in "Cancer."

Here's some nose art pics from the "Zodiacs" 834th BS, 486th BG, 8th AF.

IIRC, that was one of the best groups to be in. Overall the group had very few losses, and I think the 834th flew a fairly long string of missions with no losses.
