Zipper on CAGLECO MIL-J-7823 (AER)

Hi Guys,
I have a question regarding the zipper on CAGLECO MIL-J-7823 (AER) It has Talon Zipper on it, so I check with my friend and his jacket has Conmar on it. We both have the same era label on our jacket. I am wondering if my jacket had replaced the Talon zipper instead? Any thought, comments?

It should have the Conmar with silver teeth and a blackened brass puller. The Talon is probably a replacement. Can you see any extra stitch holes? I see a bit of loose thread there along the stitch line. Is the thread the same color as the rest of the jacket?
