WWII Sperry Gyro-Compass from ship. NY LONDON (TOKYO)

I know this is a bit off subject, ie there is no leather on this unit.....but
figured someone on here would know about these. Its a WWII Sperry Gyro-Compass from ship. NY LONDON and (T)OKYO which is
covered over... so figure this is prewar, and used during war w/o reference to their former offices in Japan.)

Wondering if there is any collector value ... been searching the net w/ no luck finding one available or sold.

Our option if its not collectible, that it will become a stationary piece of art in some fancy loft on the waterfront.

BUT we want to make sure, that as a WWII nautical marine item, that it will get a chance to find a proper home.

Looks like a Mark X and binnacle. Must weigh a lot!! Dodge made these before/during WWII. I'm sure that a Naval museum like the on in Bremerton or the one that they are trying to start at Sand Point Naval Air Station would be interested.
