World War II Era Bomber Jacket, Value

Hello! My husband has his Great grandfather's World War II era Bomber Jacket. Sheepskin Type B3 size 40. It's in a but faded condition because his grandfather actually wore it. I'm hoping someone can help me find a value?
We have a picture to help authonticate.

Ooh, a Rough Wear B-3! Very cool! That one is from between July of 1941 and June of 1942. Probably could get anywhere from $800 to $1500 for it, guessing conservatively.

You’ll want to get the measurements from it, using a tailor’s tape.

yes it is nice, but has the usual flaking and some fissures, and cracking. thus, I would say that A] it is for display, and not for wearing, and B] jan's price evaluation is generous. best of luck if you decide to sell it.

If it stays on that coat hanger, pretty soon it will tear apart at the shoulders.

Yeah, definitely stop hanging it up. Put it on a shelf somewhere.

or static display mannequin. as noted, left on a hanger it will sooner than later blow out the shoulders. no bs.
