My interest in flight jackets was recently rekindled by a friend, he wanted to buy a flight jacket and paint it up. His wife was very supportive of him and said she wanted a jacket of her own. I told her about the WASP and their role in WW2, and she could have a patch with Fifi sewn on the front. She didn't know the history of the WASP and was fascinated that there were even female pilots during WW2.
