I think this auction might be breaking eBay rules because the bid price will have 20% VAT added to it.

I hope I'm wrong, but If I understand it correctly i think that's a scam - there's no way the seller can add VAT to the bidding price, on a used item, too, and anyway for deliveries within European community there are no taxes or duties to pay.
