This is one of 2 patterns of ETO jackets made for the US by the British. It looks similar to a British Pattern 40 jacket (same wool, thread, buttons, and cotton).

The pic on top appears to me to be an ETO jacket in dark Olive Drab (OD) barathea, the color photo of the ETO jacket appears to be the 'enlisted' (not an official designation) version in wool serge. I'll snap a pic of the dark colored one if you need it.
