Who made this original repro B-10

So this is an expensive jacket, and in such good condition considering it's age. Cloth jackets are hard to come by in this condition it's almost like a modern repro!

But it can't be. Can it?

It's a Buzz Rickson and actually I had one of those in 2003 and it had an awful synthetic alpaca lining. I can see it there in the pic, really nylony, not at all good. Some of their B-10s were much much better and had real alpaca linings but for some reason the Buzz Roughwear I bought via Eastman was not good.

Wow I'm surprised. Never thought BR would so that. They were a new company then either were they?

In my limited experience (I've owned five) Buzz Rickson jackets are not all they are cracked up to be. Sure, they're beautifully made but the cut, materials and details can be inaccurate. Admittedly, the latest ones look much better but bear it in mind when buying an older model. The nylon jackets seem to be the most accurate.
