Where to buy Leather Jackets

Hi People,

Do you know of any good online shops for leather jackets? In a price range of £ 200-400?

If possible, no jackets made in Asia. But I let myself be convinced if the quality is right.

I would also be more interested in "normal" leather jackets than thick flight jackets.

or also Wested Leather which are exactly in the price category

But unfortunately I don't like the movie and Indiana Jones jackets

So I think it's doable, and maybe someone doesn't have a secret tip

Simmonds Bilt start at £550 and that's usually for a basic steer or goat. Add £75 and up for a nice horsehide to that. Their sale pages have good deals sometimes.

What size do you wear ? There’s a few of us here who have some nice jackets for sale at reasonable prices. Advertise in the For Sale Section. You never know what might turn up.

Check for „Noble House“ in Germany ...

They do have sub-400£ jackets in their portfolio in good quality - just no 100% correct reproductions ...

I've got a Wested Raiders in cowhide and bloody love the thing. Well made, lovely leather, super easy to wear and practical, and interestingly enough has probably elicited more nice comments than any other leather jacket I own, and that's including those which cost many, many times more than it.

I had also flirted with the Indiana Jones Raiders. But I'm not 100% sure... Feel like it is an old men's jacket
Unfortunately, I'm looking for a black jacket
And as a custom made it would be a sin to do it in black. That's why they don't offer it in black either: D

While I don’t own a 5 Star Leather Jacket, a few people here do, and they like them. If you find a photo of a jacket you like , Sean at 5 Star can duplicate the jacket for you in the hide of your choosing . You may want to take a look at their website.

Yes, I found the page here in the forum. Found it cool because it is openly dealt with that the jackets are made in Pakistan and many photos of how it is worked.
Found a lot of sites pretending to be in USA, Canada, UK etc. but operating from Asia.

Can they really only do that with a photo? it must be a 3D photo: D

Some previous buyers will probably jump in here and advise as to how to insure that you get what you’re looking for. Most have been very happy with their jackets even though they are from Pakistan.

Yes Shawn can. Maybe it’s not a 1:1 copy, but good enough.also depends on what you want exactly.

does anyone know "The Jacket Maker"? There is also a "Shawn" that makes jackets to measure. Is that the same Shawn from Five Star?
you can also buy ready-made jackets there.
