Thank you Shanghai ! At that moment I cannot explain better thabn with pics that I'll show you , but not now. I don't think I'm gonna buy an A2 now ( I already wait for a BK by now ) but having an account on TB will give me the opportunity to explore more possibilities and other kind of jackets.? The ones you post are really great .
I know There are better A2 markers (also expensive ) , but they don’t sell on TB , for various reasons.

All you need is , to download a proxy cell phone service APP, use that proxy cellphone number, to create a very basic account on TB. Don’t use any real information.

What model GD parka Tim?

I've got a Citadel Burt. Bloody love it as you know. Worn it up at the cabin in the mountains under -25 Celsius no drama.

They're brilliantly designed, pulls on the pockets designed to be used whilst using huge gloves/mittens, wire in the hood to adjust due to wind level, two different hand warmer pockets based on how cold it is.

Plus there's not many bits of outdoor clothing which come with a lifetime warranty.

They've had a bad rap of late just because they became trendy and idiots were wearing them in climates where they're not needed. But if you live in places where it gets seriously cold or the Arctic like I do, they're bloody brilliant.

How would you rate your Citadel against a military issued N-3B ?

As I think you know I had a N-3B back in the day Burt. There's no comparison, the Canada Goose is 1000% times better.

Materials are better, insulation is better, details, functionality, just everything is better.

Canada Goose aren't cheap but if you're in seriously cold temperatures you can't beat them. They are worth every penny. When you have one you understand why they're the most used jackets in Antarctica.

Thanks for the info Tim.
Did you ever do a review of it here?
If so shoot me a link , I’d like to read up on it. Definitely not for Florida weather but I could see wearing one out in Colorado or Montana .

Whilst you wait for a photo or two of the parka Burt, here's a snap from a few years back up at our mountain cabin. Temperature was -20ish and it was also blowing a gale (that's why my eyes were red raw). Royal Flying Corps scarf was doing a damn good job too!
