Just came home from a Dining in night and found an ELC I put on eBay with a Buy It Now of $465 has hit $888??
Do I burst in and stop it, and slap the new eBayer with nine feedbacks for trashing the auction? Or do I let it go?
Perfect timing...the AUD has fallen under the USD so perfect timing for my sales?

After drinking all night, a three course meal and laughing at how the Air Force 'attack' their peers for the princely sum
of AUD$20 I am a little miffed...

Let him win and report him for the inevitable non-payment.......though fat lot of good that ever does!

Did he start his bidding before the BIN disappeared?

Maybe just maybe there is a slight chance he'll actually pay.

The Dining in sounds like it was a success.

I'd let it go, if it's no loss to you and the possibility of a win. I was thinking the same thing with the dollar drop- northern winters coming too so time to list again.

Trev, was the Dining in a full one at one of my Messes? You wouln't believe the amount of time I spent planning layouts for those events....I'd be interested I'n knowing if the buildings work for those times.

$910? Confident with the current high bidder, he established a three part payment plan before his first bid. In line with my Papua New Guine trip I would be away to ship 'irregardless' (love it...). But if anyone comes over the top now something is amiss...They/he/we could get a Good Wear for that...Unless it is Karma...When I got home I told the wife we would give a bit of our hard earned to a young lass who grew up next to my wife. She has to have an operation for her third dig at Cancer. Grand opportunity now. So who knows...??

The RAAF Townsville Mess is a very well laid out affair, the external bar was a well kept secret that no one appeared to utilise. The lack of waiting room at the mens room would be the only concern. But given the rapid turnover it was hardly a major issue. And the 'fud' was awesome!!

Will have to wait til tomorrow...the badges were a flop. Will wait til the AUD falls again(oh please, oh please, oh please) and then get the BR sales machine cranking again...that was a good eBay year! AU$28000 turnover in twelve months. There was a 1970 HT Ute in there as well...but that USD$0.60 was a blessing...

Current under bidder is from South Korea and has a recent history of US Aviation/Special Forces buys. This one I would have loved, but missed it. High bidder has also put on two more 'powerbids' to flex his muscle, or utilise his extended payment plan? Could be fun to watch. Might be able to pull the ELC RAF jacket and lower the price on the BR L-2.. ;)

I've emailed both of the bidders pushing one another to insanity. I have encounted a South Korean pharmacist who spent $1500 on some Vietnam era paperwork with provenance. Maybe he has the clout to back it up? Hoping so...With the dollar slump today I am making even more? Must be karma....Had Defence phone yesterday saying they under paid me $325 for damages at the start of the year too. And I wont even tell you what the Australian Tax Payers gave me for 'incidentals' for a 13 day trip to Papua New Guinea.....

Someone from a government finance agency admitting they owe you money? Better buy a lottery ticket now!

And best not tell us about your travel claim. I heard the other day of the US government paying someone something like $86 for a muffin and $25 for a cup of coffee on a claim. LOL

One week down and the buyer has not paid. What is it with random IDs from Korea, Taiwan etc. ds1aqx8611 (13) went the high bid on the A-2 and seemed to baulk when I said I would ship vie EMS at my cost and hit him up for $1. Knows he has no chance for a Paypal sting with tracking online. h6as2c501 (304) is the latest bid on the ELC RAF Jacket. I was attempting to schedule the sale to start next weekend. I am wondering if it has happened to anyone else? Most people go for a name or something relevant to their lives? Looks like a random ID but the 304 feedbacks(private in this case) would take a bit to accrue. Might just cancel the bid? Jacket is sold to the under bidder 'irregardless'(first used in 1912) off eBay which has saved a $50 fee, that is if the uBer payment is not forthcoming. Just as eBay jack up the fees too. At least the dollar dipped under parity. That was nice.
