Just seen this thread. As you know Couchy, the canceling of bids is not something I agree with and I can understand your anger after this occurrence. However, I do think this is an isolated instance, and it may have been foolhardy by the seller, who might have gotten more for the jacket by letting the auction run, though it would have had to been at least $50 more just to cover the eBay fees. If he did receive an offer that was too good to refuse he should have at least informed bidders of this and let them have the chance to counterbid...but then that would be the same as letting the auction run!ausreenactor said:I had a bid of $325 on it to start.
