Wearable B-3 in size 44

Yes this 1942 no-name B-3 might just be wearable. It is so difficult to be sure from photographs alone. I notice the male side of the zipper has been replaced at some stage. It's not clear from the photos whether the other collar strap is present. It would certainly display well.

The description completely ignores the two large repair patches below the back of the collar. The start bid is too greedy. I can't see it selling.

THe fact that the zipper is all rotted out is not a good sign for the shape the leather is in. It looks good though.

Unless you are a collector don't fool with these old jackets for daily wear. I have found it is better to spend for an Eastman or Goodwear up front. A sixty year old jacket usually is not suitable for daily wear unless you are lucky enough to find a pristine example. Even then It may not fit you. If you buy something, buy it once!

I agree with Peter and the Flying Yankee hit it on the head. Its too greedy for an opening bid for
the collector side of it and for that same money you can have a stunning repro barely used.
