Marcel - thanks!!! My 5 year old daughter has been after me for her own patched flight jacket. I plan on doing one with the Fifinella (sp???) patch and a very cool 1st??? Ferry Squadron Disney patch. She just wants a jacket with cool animal/cartoon patches (that Dad paints) but this way, I can have some fun also!!! Thanks for the pics.

Oh, I am having John Chapman custom make a Dubow for her in seal HH.................

just kidding!

Actually, Aero makes cool kids jackets but are very pricey.

Yet more great shots from you Marcel. Thanks for posting them. It's interesting that some of the jackets are somewhat on the large size which makes me wonder whether they were issued to the women or handed on or borroed from larger male airmen! The B6 looks about two sizes to big.

That's almost kinda insulting. :p

Since, until the B-17, there was no flight jacket specifically designed for women ... wouldn't it be more likely, that they accepted a longer sleeve length in return for more comfort in the ... uh ... chest area?

Well, a size 38 or 40 man's jacket is going to look large on a slender shouldered woman with size 32 boobs. ;)
